When Pacol was noted to be Naga's Little Baguio about three years ago based on a national newspaper, sunflowers were already part of the farm. Early this year, the hype for sunflowers grew online that many wanted to visit and thought that it's something new.

The Cagsawa Ruins are the remnants of a 16th-century Franciscan church, the Cagsawa church. It was originally built in the town of Cagsawa in 1587 but was burned down and destroyed by Dutch pirates in 1636.
